Unearthing the Moment
Changing Psychotherapy
in Changing Times
This training
- is based on the principles and application of existential-humanistic
psychotherapy in individual and group settings
- focuses on being present and mindful in the actual
moment of communication and working with resistance as it arises in
an in-depth interchange
- provides more than self-knowledge, it expands awareness
and perceptiveness; it teaches participants to reach beyond their minds
into a heartfelt understanding of both self and self in relation to
other human beings
- consists of four three-day courses over a two-year
period with opportunities to attend seminars on leading groups and
consultations on group and individual work between courses
- will provide trainees with certificates as stewards
of in-depth communication for their application to a broad spectrum
of local, national, and international environments, such as psychotherapy,
mental health programs, hospices, classrooms, hospitals, and other
settings chosen by the graduate
