- Demonstrations of the actual work and experiencing this work
- Program’s "signature" element the actual moment of psychotherapy
- Learn interventions with a variety of clients that deepen the work
- Work with Resistance, not against it
- Use the rich heritage of existential-humanistic psychotherapy
- Explore starting and leading psychotherapy groups
Instructor: Myrtle Heery, Ph.D., associate professor of in-depth psychology at Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA, associate core faculty at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, Palo Alto, CA., private practice with individuals and couples. Director International Institute for Humanistic Studies teaching trainings to therapists nationally and internationally. She has published chapters and papers on existential-humanistic psychotherapy in journals and textbooks, and edited Awakening to Aging.
Costs: $400/$380 students/interns per course, $25 for 17 CEUS

the American Psychological Association to sponsor 17 continuing education
