Dialogue on Challenges in the Aging Process

Aware of and concerned by the fact that our aging population will grow from 12% to more than 20% by 2030, IIHS addresses the challenge via programs aligned with our mission to deepen and humanize inter-generational communication.

OUR PROGRAMS ON AGING...

  • Offer ongoing one-day and half-day programs created and facilitated by interdisciplinary practitioners:
    • Hospice workers
    • Psychotherapists
    • Neuropsychologists
    • Care providers
    • Other experts on aging
  • Combine personal and didactic presentation in an interactive format to cover health concerns, memory loss, caregiving, community support services, spirituality, end-of-life, and other issues.
  • Meet California's continuing education unit requirements on aging for:
    • Marriage and family therapists
    • Licensed clinical social workers
    • Licensed psychologists
